Program/Agency Membership
Membership enables the AHSA to increase public awareness about the benefits of Head Start/Early Head Start/Migrant Head Start and promote policies that enhance early childhood education in Alabama. The ASHA also provides meaningful training, educational and logistical opportunities for parents, programs and staff: conferences, staff training, networking, and AHSA membership includes voting privileges for four program representatives (Director, Staff, Parent and Friend).
Associate Membership
Friends of Head Start, organizations, and individuals in support of AHSA goals and objectives are eligible for associate membership. This membership includes participation in conferences and other training and technical assistance activities, except for voting on AHSA business.
Dues
Annual dues for association membership shall be paid on or before July 31st of each year and submitted along with a member certification form.
Membership Period
The membership period runs from July 1 - June 30 of each fiscal year.
